18th MWAIS ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2023

The 18th Annual MWAIS Conference will be held in person on May 19-20, 2023 in Saint Paul, MN. Sponsored by the AIS MWAIS chapter, the conference is hosted by Metropolitan State University’s College of Management.

On behalf of the MWAIS Executive Committee, I would like to invite you to join us at MWAIS 2023, from May 19th-20th in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Please consider submitting your completed research, research-in-progress, panel, or workshop ideas for inclusion in the MWAIS annual meeting.

Our annual MWAIS event is a great opportunity to connect with other researchers and practitioners within our region of the country to discuss current and relevant research and technology innovations that are impacting our field of information systems. Please consider participating in this annual meeting as well as encouraging your graduate students and colleagues to attend.

Welcome Message from Conference Co‐Chairs

On behalf of the Conference Planning Committee, we warmly welcome you to participate in the 18th Annual MWAIS Conference. The conference theme-Thriving with Agile- recognizes the 20 years since the publishing of the Agile Manifesto. Thus, the conference theme has been carefully chosen to mark such a milestone of the information systems community. We are privileged to be co‐chairs of this important conference.

Over the last 18 years, MWAIS members have made tremendous contributions in research, teaching and practice, resulting in impacts in many sectors of society. At this conference we celebrate what we as information systems faculty and professionals have achieved in furthering knowledge, skills, and ability in the discipline. Join us by submitting a paper, panel, extended abstract, big idea (lightning talks), or a doctoral proposal for workshopping at the conference.
